Earlier this year, Mike Raynor provided bid writing support to an international company bidding for a major contract in the water sector. One of the largest water companies in the UK is undertaking a procurement exercise for a Programme Delivery Partner (PDP) to support them with a huge programme of investments, whilst also driving organisational transformation, increasing efficiency and complying with regulator requirements.
Mike Raynor led storyboarding and response development, which involved liaising with numerous subject matter experts and specialist subcontractors. The written responses had to be produced whilst bidder teams attended detailed workshops with client personnel, so often Mike had to lead response development and then check technical details when specialists became available. Knowledge gathered during the client workshops also had to be incorporated into the written responses, which added another level of complexity. Mike successfully managed all workstreams and supported our client to develop comprehensive submission documents. We look forward to the outcome of the tender.
